How do I take ProFrontal?

ProFrontal is Dual Mechanism Formula with 2 Components:  Sarcosine & N-Acetyl Cysteine
 
Directions:  Take two (2) capsules of both Sarcosine and N-Acetyl Cysteine twice per day or as directed by your Healthcare Professional.
 
As tolerability is personal and varied, we suggest starting with one (1) capsule of both Sarcosine and N-Acetyl Cysteine twice per day for the first 1-2 weeks, then increase to two (2) capsules of each twice per day as tolerated.

Are there any side efffects?

No significant side effects were noted with either Sarcosine or NAC in published clinical studies.  Mild stomach upset is a possibility and will typically subside within a few days of discontinuation.

ProFrontal Sarcosine and N-Acetyl Cysteine are manufactured in a laboratory with superior Quality Assurance that complies with all current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP).  The specific manufacturer defined intensive cGMP Standard Operating Procedures also include independent registrations with NSF International and Natural Products Association.
 
All Supplement Facts are confirmed accurate and include independent assay testing for active ingredient in each production lot in addition to microbiological testing for safety.  The current lots of both N-Acetyl Cystine  and Sarcosine carry Certificates of Analysis with 100% of active ingredient via HPLC Testing and negative results for Microbiological Analysis.  Both were determined to be manufactured in accordance with their master production documents.

When will I notice an effect?

While a rapid effect is possible, allow at least 6 to 12 weeks to evaluate changes.  Clinical research trials with Sarcosine and NAC typically range from 6 to 24 weeks.  
 
Response to ProFrontal varies and therefore we encourage adequate time to notice a benefit.

How do you compare to other brands of Sarcosine?

Care should be exercised in choosing a supplement containing Sarcosine.  Some available Sarcosine products also include Aspartic Acid.  This amino acid acts as an excitatory neurotransmitter and is known to overactivate the Glutamate Site on the NMDA Receptor.  Aspartic Acid in sufficient amount can act as a neurotoxin and should be avoided.
 
Sarcosine is used in the food industry in a number of different forms but can be challening to find with purity.  The current lot of ProFrontal Sarcosine has a Certificate of Analysis with 100% active ingredient via HPLC Testing and negative results for Microbiological Analysis.

Do I need to take the NAC?

We recommend using high quality NAC at specified dosing to ensure appropriate balance and impact on NMDA Receptor function.

Can I take Sarcosine or NAC by itself?

Sarcosine and NAC each has a unique impact on NMDA Receptor function.  ProFrontal was designed from the results of published FDA registered clinical trials using specific dosage strengths for each compound. The optimal benefit to NMDA-R function would be to follow the research with quality ingredients at the synergistic dosages.
 
If personal tolerability or the guidance of a healthcare professional advises otherwise, we also sell each component for use as a single agent supplement.

Do you ship Internationally?

We currently process and ship to most countries. Due to the complexity of import regulations, international orders and shipping must agree to the terms and condiions of our International Customer Policy.

Some countries impose restrictions on the importation of specific supplements. Please research your country’s rules and regulations for importation of N-Acetyl Cysteine and Sarcosine.  If either supplement is restricted in your country, it will likely be returned, impounded, or destroyed, and the package will not reach its destination.  If you order ProFrontal, you agree not to hold us responsible should you not receive your shipment or suffer any financial loss as a result of your attempt to import this product.  If you order internationally and you do not receive your item, our responsibility to you will only extend so far as to demonstrate by US Postal Service tracking or customs declaration number to prove shipment of the package. We can only issue a refund of your purchase price once the package is returned to us.  Returned international shipments can take 6-10 weeks.
 
Shipping charges will not be refunded.
